Identification and Presentation of the Companies

ETT is interested in early to expansion stage technology companies with the potential to become global leaders in their market niche in the following areas:

• Electronic Systems & Optical Components
  
• Terminals and peripherals
  
• Networking (Fixed, Wireless, Management & Services)
  
• Software Applications (Enterprises and Consumers)
  
• New Materials and Processes (Nanotech and capital equipment)
  
• Platform & Infrastructure (Computer, Security, Content delivery, Infrastructure Management, Storage & database management, Middleware, OS & Development tools)
  
• Renewable Energy & Cleantech
  
• Medical Instrumentation
  

*Please note that no Biotech companies will be considered, as they will be addressed through a future Biotech Tour event.

The ETT local representative and the executive committee of ETT identify the most promising companies in a selected region or selected industry segment through their combined networks.

An open competition or "call for applications" is also made in each region or segment at least three months before each event takes place. Applications are reviewed and selected by an independent committee. Selected companies are announced at the opening dinner or opening session of the event.
